Kim Roberts, LPC, CPCS started Fresh Air Counseling in Marietta, GA in the spring of 2019. She earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Georgia (go Dawgs!), Master’s degree in Counseling and Ed.S in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. Kim specializes in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship counseling and domestic violence. The foundation of Kim’s practice is to provide a positive environment that promotes insight and healing. She treats individuals ages 16 years old and up, couples and families. Kim is in our Marietta, GA office Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mondays and Wednesdays she is available in her Cartersville office.

Melissa Ellis, LMSW

Melissa Ellis, LMSW

Melissa is a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides individual therapy primarily to children and adolescents, as well as adult veterans and active-duty service members. She earned her BA in Psychology and Educational Studies from Belmont Abbey College and her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia.

Melissa is especially passionate about helping children and teens build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, identity development, peer relationships, school stress, and life transitions. She creates a supportive and collaborative space where young clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow. She also works with adult veterans and active-duty military members experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and stress-related concerns (including PTSD), and military transition challenges. Melissa understands the unique stressors of military service and reintegration and provides trauma-informed care tailored to each client’s developmental stage and life experience.

Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, she helps clients build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Melissa is available Saturday and Sundays in the Marietta, GA office. She is also available for virtual sessions on Wednesday and Friday evenings 5:30-9:30pm. Melissa provides counseling for children and adolescents (ages 8–18), with openness to adult veterans and active-duty military members.

Kelly Ledford, LPC, CPCS, ATR, Somatic Trauma Therapy Certified

Kelly completed her BA at Kennesaw University and earned her Master of Science in Counseling and Art Therapy from Springfield College. Kelly uses a variety of approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic and Expressive modalities. She has gained over the years experience in working effectively with individuals to address trauma, anxiety, shifting through life transitions, chronic pain, and increasing ability to manage emotional regulation. Kelly works with adults, adolescents, and younger children who are at least 5 years old and she invites all individuals into her physical or virtual office to explore life together. She is in our Marietta, GA office on Mondays and Wednesdays, and available for virtual sessions on Tuesdays.

Morgan Dunn

Morgan Dunn, LCSW

Morgan Dunn, LCSW, with over a decade of both inpatient and outpatient therapy, specializes in supporting teens and families who are struggling with self‑harm, suicidal thoughts, intense emotions, or sudden changes in behavior. Morgan is known for creating a safe, non‑judgmental space where adolescents feel understood and parents feel supported. A Diamond Certified Solution Focused Brief Therapist, Morgan integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Hope Theory to help teens build practical coping skills, reduce self‑harm behaviors, and strengthen their ability to navigate overwhelming moments. Morgan also works with couples healing after infidelity, rebuilding trust, and improving communication. He sees individuals ages 12 and up, couples, and families, and is available in our Marietta, GA office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Erin Bickley, LPC, received her Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. She integrates multiple counseling approaches in her trauma-informed work with clients, including Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, and Humanistic Counseling. Erin believes individuals hold their own answers within, and is honored to help guide her clients as they move toward clarity and self-discovery. Erin treats individuals 18 years old and up. She is in our Marietta, GA office on Mondays and Wednesdays, and available for virtual session on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Lavanya Devdas Mangalore, LPC, started with Fresh Air Counseling in 2023. Lavanya holds a Masters in Mental Health and Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She also holds an MS in Counseling and Psychotherapy, MA in English Literature, and BA in Psychology. Her work experience in the US and India has included weaving the intersectionality of equity, health, justice, and healing as an individual, a family, a community, and a world. Lavanya speaks several South Asian languages, including Hindi. She treats individuals (ages 5 years and up), couples and families. Lavanya is available in our Marietta, GA office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and virtually on Wednesdays.

Shantay Evans, LAPC, has been with Fresh Air Counseling since the spring of 2022 and providing counseling for over 20 years. Shantay worked at the district level in various school systems as a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) District Coach for 9 years. Shantay looks to help you to identify things that can be changed within your environments, help resolve conflicts and alleviate feelings of frustration, anger, sadness, stress and anxiety. Shantay uses trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches when promoting your mental health wellness. Regardless as to whether we’re virtual or in-person, you’ll find that I’m a genuine person who’ll support you in a judgment-free setting. Shantay treats individuals (ages 5 years old and up), couples and families. She is available in our Marietta, GA office on Sundays, and Mondays in our office and virtually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
